Logitech has announced its latest keyboard for iPad Air and iPad mini. The Logitech Ultrathin improves on the flexibility and the design of its predecessor.
The new Ultrathins have two-thirds of the weight of an iPad, measure only 6.4 mm thick and are made with high-grade aluminium. The Bluetooth keyboards also have a similar finish as that of an iPad which make them ideal mates and difficult to tell them apart.
The keyboard features a flexible multi-angle slot that allows users to magnetically clip in an iPad to the required viewing angle. The Logitech Ultrathin keyboard comes with keys that are well-spaced and has iOS centric shortcuts as well.
Click to view slideshow.There are two versions of the keyboards, one for iPad Air and the other for iPad mini, and they both come in Space Grey or Silver colours. The iPad Air version is priced, similar to the older Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover, at US$99. Meanwhile, the iPad mini version is priced at US$89.99, which is US$10 more than the previous version.
Logitech Malaysia site is still showing the older versions and these are priced at RM299 and RM259 for the iPad Air and iPad mini respectively. The new Ultrathins are expected to be priced similarly.
