After announcing its new Ultrathin keyboards for the iPad, Logitech has been hard at work to release a version for Samsung Galaxy Tabs. It looks like its mission is now accomplished with the release of the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.

The folio is a slim, protective keyboard case with a full-size Bluetooth keyboard. It complements the Tab 4 nicely and provides a dual-view stand to boot: the tablet can be placed in an upright position for typing or flat with the keyboard hidden below for browsing. The keyboard has well-spaced keys and like its iPad counterpart, even comes with a row of Android centric shortcut keys. The folio also features Logitech’s SecureLock System to keep the tablet secured firmly to the case yet, easy to separate when required.

The protective keyboard is made with water-repellent and durable materials to protect the tablet from accidental bumps, scratches and spills. The keyboard even comes with a built-in battery that can be re-charged and a single charge will it last up to 3 months, based on a 2 hour daily use.

The Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Folio is available for pre-order from the US site for US$99.99. The folio has not made an appearance on the Malaysian site as yet but we’ll keep you updated when it does.
